Who am I?
One of the reasons I love blogging is because I like connecting with people. I am here behind the scenes cooking the food, photographing it, designing the website and posting on social media and I love sharing my life. My goal is to inspire and empower as many people as possible to live a Healthy Lifestyle and kick life’s butt.
With all that being said, if you are interested in knowing more about my eating disorders, paleo journey, love for bacon or anything else you can find it all on my post 26 Things you Didn’t Know About Me.
The Best Places to find Ingredients
Well from when I started Paleo four years ago to now, A LOT has changed. It is very easy in most cases to obtain all the ingredients we use in Paleo at most stores now. I still have my favorites though and I am just going to cut to the chase.
- Thrive Market – This is the Online Health food Costco. With this link you can get $10 off and a 2 month free membership.
- Tropical Traditions – I get ALL my coconut products from them. Coconut oil, coconut flour, coconut butter, etc.
- Vital Choice Seafoods – We don’t eat much seafood, but when we do quality matters and this is where we go.
- Butcher Box – Monthly Grass-fed beef, pork, chicken and more shipped anywhere in the country.
- Eating Evolved – Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate.
- Paleo Treats – The Best Paleo treats on the go, I live off the mustang bar, it is indescribable.

Paleo Recipes
When I started eating Paleo, I had never cooked before so my philosophy is to keep things simple and delicious. Food should be fun and I make sure that can happen.
One of the most important tools I have is the crockpot. It makes cooking easy and delicious with little to no effort. We created the Ultimate Slow Cooker Guide for you.
The reason I focus on fun is because having a healthy relationship with food is the key to any successful healthy lifestyle. I struggled secretly with bulimia for 12 years and finally opened up about it. With that being said, my disclaimer is to enjoy the desserts in moderation and always focus on loving yourself.
