These are the simplest, yet most delicious way I could enjoy walnut. I know this is borderline Paleo but I use all 100% Pure Maple Syrup so I could have extracted sap from a tree thousands of years ago :). Just don’t over indulge on these, even tough they are Paleo it doesn’t mean you can eat all you want. Feel free to enjoy a couple cups at least though :)

I made these today but they are all cooled but are still so sticky. I was thinking they would be sweet and crunchy so that I could use them in salads. I even tried refrigerating them to see if that would harden up the maple glaze, but it didn’t work. Did I do something wrong or is this the way they were supposed to turn out? I chose your recipe over others I found on the internet because I always prefer to use maple syrup over other types of sugar. They taste good but are a gloppy, sticky sheet of walnuts. Any ideas?

Melissa, mine hardened into a crunchy shell of sweet. Could have been the maple syrup or they just didn’t carmelize long enough.
