Spiced Apple Wassail

Wassail

Fall is coming, fall is coming and I am stoked.  Today was the first day in like 1,192 days I did not have to use the air conditioning after I got home from my 90 minute commute the day gas went up to $4.78 a gallon.  Awesome southern California, cool off to save me money on my electric bill while you so eloquently screw me with gas prices.  Luckily, I drive the manliest, rough and tough commuter car you can.  Can you guess it? Bald guy covered in tattoos, pretending to be a modern caveman in my awesome 4 door silver civic.  Booyah.  And let me tell you, she looks all sorts of shiny after I got here back fixed from my car accident, mama has a new grill and she is flaunting it.  So I have to be honest, I just read what I typed above and I must be sleep deprived, I never talk like that but I was too lazy to erase it so I hope you enjoy.  And now that my attention is back from that little off topic rant, what I was saying is Fall is in the air.  That is where this little gem of a recipe comes in.  I was going to make another Pumpkin Spice Latte but I posted one last year and my amazing friend Jenni, the almond flour dealer behind The Urban Poser has an awesome RECIPE too.

So instead I went the lazy route, because this thing was seriously from concept to mouth in under 5 minutes.  That is an amazing turnaround time for something so delicious.  Plus, I have a secret, are you ready?  If your under 21, close your eyes, but this thing is AMAZING with some adult beverages.  Might I recommend some Ciroc Vodka or some Patron.  Just a thought (HEAVY RECOMMENDATION).  Before the Paleo Police get their clubs up in arms, Ciroc is distilled from grapes, I checked.  Plus if it wasn’t I would say if your in control of your health, it doesn’t make you sick, then go on and enjoy it.  Seriously though, cause after all what is the point of living this life and staying as healthy as we do without living a little.  I am pretty sure if I was around when Caveman were I could have easily peer pressured them into sharing NorCal margaritas with me and Robb.  I just realized someone made a website just for the NorCal, thats awesome and I hope it was you Robb.  With that being said, I am all done stealing some of your brain cells while you read my rambling.  I hope you enjoy this recipe and keep an eye out for some more Fall ones coming soon.  I may or may not be posting a Bacon Apple Butternut Squash soup on Monday.  In case you think I am not, I highly recommend you check on Monday.

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is needed to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would
cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% sure. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I’m so happy that I stumbled upon your website today!! First the banana bread, and now this! And can I just say… maple syrup in place of the honey, and a couple of glugs of whiskey (I neither know nor care if it’s paleo… just sayin’)… so yummy! Thanks!!

Do you think I can make a big batch and save it in the fridge? Or what would be the best way to have a ‘batch’ on hand?

I mean you could but I don’t know how well it would taste. The best thing to do would just to have everything prepped and take the 3 minutes to make it HOT
