Want to know a secret? I actually made and photographed this easy coleslaw recipe for the first time 2 years ago. I have probably made this at least 25 times since and never got around to sharing with you.
I think I was secretly holding onto this secret because it is so good and everyone loves it. I have tested this recipe for 5 different types of mayonnaise (including homemade) and nothing comes close to the flavor of the delicious Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil Mayonnaise <—- (FREE Jar at that link)

Loving the addition of the cranberries – I’m adding this to the rotation!

Glad you loved it!

SO YUMMY!
Just made your easy caveman slaw and I love it! I used homemade avocado oil mayo because we’re not that lucky to be able to buy primal kitchen mayo here in germany. Added a little (or a lot) curry powder and vinegar to the dressing to give it more of a zing and because there isn’t a thing like too much turmeric, right? ;)
oh and I bet it would be even more awesome (but more time consuming) with the addition of some crumbled up bacon #hugsandbacon

That sounds so awesome. Thank you for commenting and making it Carolina

Pardon me – I meant “60 second” email heading.

Looks like a tasty coleslaw – the addition of the cranberries makes it different than most slaw recipes. Your “5 minute” heading on the email is hardly accurate however. Prepping the various ingredients would take longer than that. Food prep often takes longer than the mixing or cooking process. Good recipe however – I will make the slaw soon.

Jim, I bought all of the ingredients already sliced so it was under a minute
