An absolutely amazing steak rub on any grilled steak you can make paired with an almost dessert like side dish. Herb Crusted Ribeye with Grilled Honey Pineapple
Ingredients
Herb Crusted Ribeye
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 2 tablespoons dried basil
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon crushed fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
Honey Pineapple
- fresh pineapple peeled and sliced 1/2 inch thick
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your grill on high
- Combine all the ingredients listed above under the steak ingredients except the steak in a bowl and mix well
- Ensure your steak has sat at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to level out the temperature and then liberally apply your dry rub to each side of your steak, set aside
- Mix all the ingredients under the pineapple ingredients except the pineapple and mix well
- Using a brush, liberally apply your marinade to both sides of your sliced pineapple
- Go place your steaks and your pineapples on your grill, cook your steak approximately 4-5 minutes per side or until done to your preference
- Grill your pineapples for 4-5 minutes per side or until you get nice grill marks and the pineapple has softened a bit
- Remove from the grill, plate and enjoy
