Seductive Hot Chocolate with Merlot and Cayenne

Method
 

  1. Place a medium sized sauce pot onto medium heat.
  2. Warm Coconut milk to a simmer. (Not quite boiling)
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Add chocolate and whisk until smooth
  5. Add honey, vanilla sea salt, cloves and cayenne
  6. While warm but not boiling add Merlot , add additional sweetener to taste
  7. Serve warm, garnish with chocolate shavings or even bacon salt if you'd like.

Notes

An immersion blender can be used. I find that this froths the hot chocolate but also it can help prevent clumping or scorching.
