  • 2 bone in pork chops
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries dried with apple juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small apple sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ginger to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 300 degrees fahrenheit
  • Preheat a saute pan on your stove top over medium high heat
  • In a mixing bowl, combine your applesauce, cranberries, lemon juice, and rosemary and mix well
  • Season both sides of your pork chops with salt, pepper, and ground ginger to your liking
  • Once seasoned, sear your pork chops for 2-3 mins of each side then set aside
  • Line the bottom of your baking dish with your sliced onions
  • Place your pork chops on the bed of onions
  • Rub your garlic onto the top of your pork chops
  • Place your sliced apples in a single layer on top of your pork chops
  • Now evenly spoon your applesauce mixture over the top of your porkchops and cover the entire chops
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on the thickness of your chop
  • Once the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 145 degrees you are good to remove them from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving
  • Enjoy
